VIXX Plagiarism, Why Is This Not A Controversy Yet?
I was listening to Dean's I'm Not Sorry, but the chorus kept reminding me of some other song, so I thought about it and turns out it's VIXX' Shangri-La. I'll put the links here, the choruses are seriously identical.

What's more, not long after VIXX' Shangri-La was released, Dean wrote lyrics saying his song was copied then filmed it and posted it on IG ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

This is the content of the lyrics Dean posted on IG.
(T/N: The lyrics are indeed talking about how his song got copied)

- Edit: I researched about it, it's not plagiarism if the harmony and genre are simply similar. The melody needs to be identical over at least 4 words for plagiarism to be identified, the two songs' melody lines are similar, but in order for it to be legally considered as plagiarism there have to be at least 4 words with completely identical melody, and also the chord progression, rhythm, and harmony need to be completely the same as well. But Dean's song and Shangri-La only share 1 word and a half of similar melody, and after that it's totally different. I also considered the songs' overall vibe and the general public's opinion, and not only their vibes are different but the vast majority of the general public also do not consider it plagiarism.

- You can't blame only the song's producers. Whoever listens to them would know they're identical, but the fact that VIXX promoted with the song and cluelessly supported plagiarism means that they agreed to it. Even if it's not legally recognized as plagiarism, it's definitely subtle PLAGIARISM. If you only blame the producers for plagiarism controversy then why is Sunmi hated on all the time?

- It's clearly different from the title, it's produced by Divine Channel. Also because it's not legally recognized yet so it's not a controversy yet, right? Why don't you begin by researching about the standards of accusation before you write?
